I have a suggestion, about the health damage. If the health damage is recieved, can you make make invulnerable for some seconds to avoid multiple bug damage. Btw the game is so good lol, looking forward for the improvements of the game. You're doing good at this, hope this game will compress as ".apk" or ".exe" file.
Really noice well made game. Noice visuals, UI, music and sound effects.
I really liked the little animations like the transition screen, little character UI pop when character changes. You have polished the game super well.
Also the night mode when the songs ends, that's a really noice touch
Suggestions:
Can you please have the attack hooked to the left mouse button, because I don't even know how many times I have tried to attack by pressing the left mouse button by instinct, but then died. If you don't want to change, then please key a option in settings to switch between left and right mouse button
You can add a flashing sprite after the character collided with a wall or evil bunnies to let the player know that they have been hurt, as it felt too jarring for nothing to happen
Anyways, really loved this game made by taking inspiration from the MV
Thank you! The button setting is a good idea, I added it to the list! The flashing sprite is actually included in the game, but maybe not that noticeable? I can try tweaking it.
Fun game! It works very smoothly and I wanted to keep playing to get farther (looks like I max out a bit after two full plays of the song). The visuals are very faithful to the inspiration, and you did a great job imagining and bringing to life gameplay around the original images -- the character-switching and heart-rebuilding mechanisms were clever and well done. You also balanced the difficulty well, the UI is great, and night mode was a nice touch. My only bit of feedback is that after firing a heart, the player "sticks" and can't move vertically until the heart animation is complete (perhaps because the player and heart-shot are one animation, or maybe parent-child?). My instinct was that the player should be able to move once the shot is fired, fwiw, but maybe this was meant as a downside to using the heart. Nice work!

The movement restriction during the attack was intentional as an aspiration to resemble how it goes like in the original concept, but also works as an added layer of difficulty like you said. But I can see it might feel a bit janky and could abide some smoothing, I'll consider revisiting it!

Game doesn't start. Windows 10, Chrome Browser.

Nothing. It goes to a black screen (windowed or full screen) and that's it. No sound, no graphics. Like it doesn't start.
Weird, I'm on the same specs and works without a problem. Some options you could try:
- run it on a different browser Edge/Firefox/Brave/etc
- go to Chrome -> Settings -> System -> Enable Hardware Acceleration , then Relaunch
Also can you try opening other web games from this site? To see if it's a problem with this game only or something wider.
